

It has a lip screwed on to the base I need to remove...frozen/stripped screws. EZ Out in my future.
Ordered assortment of t-nuts and such so should be able to attach this weekend. Goal to have Bringhelli jig mount by end of weekend.

Fired up the horizontal mill and cut a few blocks for holding seat and chain stays. Slotting on mill experiment coming next.
read moreStarted cleaning up the shop and organizing it around the two recent milling machines that I found over the summer. Next steps, get vise situated on stand and fine a lathe sometime soon. Will start next frame soon enough as well.

After some light cleanup to the notch (1 inch tube to 1 1/8 inch tube at 90 degrees) it came together real good. Next steps to cut more notches and create a bunch of pieces to practice my brazing. Also, need to cut at angles. More to come...
read moreNot a lot going on in the frame building front. Working on getting an alignment table figured out before I can go much further. Will probably not get the frame complete by the time I go to the Handmade Bicycle Show in Feb.
