Took these out of some old water main shutoff valves.
Very happy with final layout of this one. Slotted flatbar made for a cool effect of the blade cutting to the chase.
In progress along with totemesque…something should spark them to completion I hope. Large saw blade on great remnant base.
Not speaking to me yet but getting close. Old bush hog blades and industrial flange of some sort…more work tomorrow.
I don’t do commissions! Well never say never. The Loudoun Academy of the Arts approached me about doing a “Thank You” gift for a dear friend of mine, I was honored and of course said yes. All the stresses that I try to avoid with commission work came rushing back over the few months of creation but the result was fantastic.
